FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT?
During the consultation appointment, I will ask you to share more about what brings you to seek counseling at this time. I will share more about my counseling approach and encourage you to ask me any questions about working with me. The consultation appointment is helpful for us to determine if we are aligned to work together.
WHAT ARE INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS?
We are currently offering 50-minute one-on-one online sessions, to prospective clients based in New Jersey, with a therapist via Zoom where you can focus on a specific area in need of growth, process and work through thoughts and feelings, and work together with the therapist to develop a plan to solve their need.
HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?
I request to meet with new clients weekly to get the most out of therapy for the first six weeks. As we meet, I will check in and ask how the frequency of therapy is working for you, and we can adjust the frequency and duration as we go.
DO YOU OFFER SESSIONS IN OTHER LANGUAGES?
Yes. I am able to provide sessions in Spanish.
FEES
Individual Sessions-$200 per individual session
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
We do not accept any health insurance plans at this time. Upon request, you can be provided with a monthly superbill that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is recommended that you call your insurance provider to determine your out-of-network benefits, including your deductible, what your coverage amount will be, and how many sessions might be covered. If you choose to try and get reimbursement, we may be required to include a diagnosis on the superbill which will be part of your medical record.
WHAT IS A SUPERBILL?
Some insurance plans include out-of-network (OON) benefits. A superbill is an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is recommended for you to call your insurance directly to get that information.
WHAT IF I AM OUT-OF-STATE?
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey, therapy services can only be offered to those who reside within the state of New Jersey.
CANCELATION POLICY
Sessions must be canceled 24 hours in advance in order to avoid being charged. We require a credit card on file as we reserve your therapy time for you. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay 50% of the cost of the session.
